While ideas are “a dime a dozen,” those who are willing to risk sharing their ideas and committing themselves to seeing their ideas realized are exceedingly rare. Of course, only such rare people can count themselves among the class of businesspersons who have, more than any other, changed our world for the better - entrepreneurs.
If you’re an entrepreneur with a great idea and a real passion for seeing that idea through, consider applying to compete in 2025’s What’s the Big Idea? event to be held September 2025 at Heaven’s Landing in Clayton, GA.

Only 7 applicants will be selected to pitch their ideas, but everyone will become an honorary founding member of the North Georgia Digital Chamber of Commerce with FREE lifetime membership and access to benefits.

What to expect
If you’re selected to pitch, you’ll stasrt by attending Pitch U - a series of online, interactive sessions featuring entrepreneurs, investors and others who will share their experiences with you, answer your questions and even work with you to help shape your pitch. When you graduate Pitch U, you’ll be more prepared to deliver a great at What’s the Big Idea.
When the big day comes, you and your colleagues will each have 10 minutes to pitch your businesses and ideas to a panel of judges. When you’ve finished pitching, judges will have the opportunity to ask you questions to help them and the audience better understand your vision.
Once all contestants have delivered their pitches, the judges will leave the room for up to 30 minutes to deliberate and score contestants based on the following criteria:
Product-Market Fit
Feasibility
The contestant’s passion for their business/idea
The contestant’s delivery (including appearance, ability to communicate effectively and including appropriate support materials like slides, handouts or examples)
